As an Engineer_Sales, you will be responsible for sales within MO product (Drive & motor) in accordance with strategy for Motion Business Area in Taipei City, Kaohsiung, China.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for building long term customer relationships and manage resolution to specific customer needs and issues. Identify and develop sales opportunities.

Your responsibilities
  • Selling products/systems/services to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets for assigned Business Units/Product Groups.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote Customer understanding of full product/systems/ services offering, and align to provide a solution. Ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
  • Preparing sales plans using company tools. Performs regular status reviews and proposing recovery plan(s) in cases of potential order shortfalls.
  • Creating added value for the customer/ABB and ensuring the successful outcome of transactions, contracts and proposals by using effective sales techniques. Communicating details in accordance with ABB offering and strategy (delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions).
  • Preparing offers in coordination with the sales support. Ensuring appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices and trading conditions.
  • Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market and ensures know-how sharing and cross-collaboration.
  • Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supports collection and project management activities when needed.
  • Preparing offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department and/or the Marketing Manager. Ensuring appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices and trading conditions.
Your background
  • A bachelor’s degree or above, major in chemical or electrical engineering or IT background is a plus
  • Automation or electrical sales experience in industries/OEM/EPC is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of Drive and Motor
  • Significant sales drive, focus energy to achieve and close profitable deals. Ability to push himself/herself to develop in line with the changes in the organization
  • Excellent skills in Customer relations: Show a mature selling behavior and actively drives discussions and negotiations to the benefit of the business with customers
  • Good knowledge in contract and risk management
  • Toeic score over 500
