We are looking for a skilled Research and Development Engineer (Mechanical R&D Engineer) to join our team. You will be responsible for working on stacking and tolerance analysis, reliability test verification and improvement for Notebook product.

Onsite Compal Linkou Office

Assignment Duration: 12 Months

Responsibilities:

• Focus more GD&T signal & dimension.
• Analysis the issues of dimension & deformation for make the technical report.
• Co-work w/ vendor / Engineer for Cpk data collection & analysis
• Stacking & Tolerance analysis for precisely evaluation
• Reliability test verification & improvements
• Using GOM to capture the part to be inspected.
• Understand requirement. Provide notebook design solutions.
• Modify 3D models, drawings.
• Perform notebook mechanical design analysis, simulation, eliminate design mistake.
• Perform measurement on notebook products to ensure the product design meet requirements.

Requirements:

• Education: Mechanical Engineering in BE/BS/ME/MS or equivalent degree
• Notebook design exp. : 3+ years (nice to have thinner laptop design exp.)
• ProE Creo 7.0 skill for 3D/2D drawing check & review.
• Familiar w/ GD&T definition is a must
• Familiar w/ Tolerance analysis is a must
• Familiar w/ Cpkdata collection & analysis
• Having Notebook Mechanical Design exp. w/ technical knowledge.
• Knowledge for Aluminum CNC / Stamping design, or related manufacture process
• With GOM software exp. is a plus
• TOEIC: 350
• Soft Skills: Good listener, positive attitude, sense of humor, open minded, respect, patience, resolving issues, etc.
• Exp. applying analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles
• Can work under pressure
• Working permit and Mandarin ability are required with foreigner
