• Within the BST, this role is accountable for the Finance matters belonging to the cluster
• This role is accountable for the financial controlling activities, working closely with the Manager Business Services to provide him/her all relevant insights and documents the Manager needs to partner with the Director Operations Cluster and Director Commercial Cluster in driving the cluster performance
• Besides Finance, this role is also accountable for the HR function within the cluster, including assisting the management team of the cluster in recruitment and onboarding of new talent, managing engagement & development and time & attendance (incl. absence tracking)
• As Finance expert within the  BST, this role is involved into the different cluster performance topics such as building the cluster budget, product costing, defining CAPEX envelop and monitoring & reporting on investments
• In addition, this role is a true multitasker, also assisting the business in the transactional procurement
  

Responsibilities:

• General Ledger:
• Verify accounting records, cost allocation, reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies to assess accuracy and compliance. Prepare balance sheet, profit and loss, cash flow and other statements, ensuring proper support documentation is in place.
• Product cost calculation:
• Perform and deliver product cost calculation, analysis and reporting.
• CAPEX:
• Following up end-to-end CAPEX process, including financial justification calculation and post investment reviews.
• Inventory management:
• Perform and deliver inventory accounting. Support Operations and Supply Chain in improving inventory management, including period stock takes and surveys, reconciliations, periodic reviews of obsolete and slow-moving inventory and recommendation for write-offs.
• Analysis and reporting:
• Drive and deliver period end-closing analysis and reporting.
• Budgeting and forecast:
• Set up and deliver cluster budget and forecast. Monitor the variances between budgeting and actual.
• Tax:
• Ensure the company complies with all tax regulation / tax reports. Monitor reconciliation between Financial and tax reporting. Ensure a full transfer pricing file is available and in accordance with domestic transfer pricing regulations. Tax inquiries, tax audits and tax consultancy are well informed to Group Tax team.
  

About you:

• Bachelor in Finance, Accounting, or related disciplines with professional qualification
• Minimum 6 years relevant working experience in accounting and finance
• Expert in costing, budgeting and manufacturing analysis
• Strong in data consolidation with high proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Good communication skills with strong ability in both written and spoken English
• Excellent business acumen and interpersonal skills to work with internal and external stakeholders
• Flexible, detail-minded, multi-tasking and able to work under tight time frame
• With experience in SAP CO and Power BI would be an advantage
