RDE Senior Project Manager

Major Roles and Responsibilities  Manage R&D programs in a matrix organization in close collaboration with Product Line Management and RD&E functional managers and third-party development partners  Manage multiple work streams, prioritizing based on business goals and objectives and available resources.

 Develop and manage project plans and execute product development according to plans and development process and within project budget.  Develop risk analysis, contingency plans, prioritization, resource planning, critical path analysis, etc.

 Communicate and report status to Product Line Management and other organizations and to the leadership team.

 Develop best practices for program management and improve/refine RD&E processes.  Planning and managing product development stages and ensuring products are delivered on time and within budget  Vendor and contract management for JDM projects Education, Experience, and other Qualifications:

• Proven experience of at least 10 years in R&D project management, progressively leading large-scale projects with cross-functional teams.
• Experience working for a global big company as well as a startup
• Prefer background in Wireless/Mobility/Cellular networks and good understanding of wireless technology
• Understanding of network architectures used today to deliver data/voice/video services
• A demonstrated ability to learn new products and technologies
• Prefer telecommunications and/or data systems experience
• Proven background in R&D and engineering processes
• B.Sc or BSEE required
• Innovative, entrepreneur approach, open minded, able to lead changes
• Strong interpersonal skills to facilitate meetings where you will articulate complex concepts
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship building skills
