Minimum qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Radio Frequency, and/or Electromagnetism, or equivalent practical experience
• 5 years of experience designing RF solutions for consumer electronics
• Experience with board design/bring-up, desense mitigation, factory processes, and manufacturing
• Experience with wireless communication systems (e.g., 5G NR/LTE/UMTS/GSM/GNSS, 802.11, Bluetooth, etc.)
  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with Radio Frequency design
• Experience and knowledge of RF design in consumer products, and use of RF test equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, protocol and signaling testers, and/or antenna chambers)
• Familiarity with simulation tools and/or circuit simulation capability (e.g., Advanced Design System (ADS) and scripting and automation tools for data collection/analysis)
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements (FCC, IC, CE, etc.), carrier specifications, 3GPP, 3GPP2, and their respective certification process

As a Radio Frequency (RF) Hardware Engineer, you will be part of a design team building consumer electronics products in emerging areas. You will have involvement at the product concept through to mass production. You will be involved in cross-functional team engagement, and define the overall product architecture to achieve best RF performance.

Responsibilities

• Define architecture, specification, design, and test boards for innovative consumer electronics devices.
• Design and optimize RF system solutions, including cellular technologies 5G, LTE, UMTS, CDMA, GSM, WLAN, Bluetooth, and/or GPS.
• Design for volume manufacturing and support factory engineers from prototyping to product launch.
• Manage PCB design for optimal RF performance.
• Work with component vendors and partners to develop the RF frontend.
