Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.

Day To Day Responsibilities
  • Audit
  • Establish needed audit plan and conduct routine audit for achieving error-free operation
  • Benchmark best practice between cross-plant for consistency and excellent
  • Track CAR closure quality and focus on systematic improvements to avoid repeat issues
  • Collaborate with manufacturing dept. to improve their day to day audit
  • Lead assigned specific audit program
  • Change management
  • Consolidate and manage changes to prevent uncontrolled or unexpected quality risks
  • Others
  • Support ISO internal/ external and customer audit
  • Support Manufacturing PCPD audit program
Education And Experience
  • BS or MS degree in Engineering related
  • 2+ years experiences in QA/ Engineering function
  • Certified ISO9001:2015 lead auditor
  • Experienced at ISO/ IATF16949 quality system and automotive 5 core tools.
  • Familiar VDA6.3 requirement is a plus
Required Skills
  • Good English comprehension in speaking, writing and reading, TOEIC 650 is must
  • Familiar with Quality related methods in statistics and stratification, Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) is a plus
  • Good knowledge in ISO elements and 5 core tools (APQP/ SPC/ MSA/ FMEA/ PPAP)
  • Excellent audit skills and 8D concepts
