About This Team

We are the Quality Department. We manage the global quality standards, processes and metrics that ensure a positive guest experience with the performance of our product. We work cross-functionally across the entire product team to ensure our products meet our quality and compliance standards. We then educate our vendors to make quality products a reality.

And the lululemon Liaison Office (LLO) team is dedicated to ensuring our products are produced of the highest quality, delivered when we need them, and manufactured with partners who share our commitment to elevating the world. Not only do we manage the production of great products at an exceptional quality level, but we also build great relationships.

A Day In The Life

• Report directly to the LLO Manager, Quality Assurance Testing and Compliance
• Verify that the lululemon global standards for all raw materials (Fabric and Trim) and/or finished goods are met as per development
• Focus on the bulk TRIM quality and testing support and travel to different vendor locations
• Support LLO Quality Testing & Compliance team by owning all bulk testing reports dispositions and providing clarification or support to all suppliers and vendors on any bulk compliance or testing needs
• Monitor execution of the global quality testing program that protects our Brand and delivers a consistent guest experience internationally
• Ensure the supply chain is following testing cadence and that there is a valid/acceptable report in the file for the raw material and/or finished goods
• Support the onsite testing audit program in place for accredited mill internal labs
• Implement proper corrective action plans with supplier/vendor upon failures, in partnership with the LLO raw materials and/or product QA
• Provide training to vendor/mill / internal team on the testing area as needed.
• Communicate with the third-party testing provider to ensure on-time delivery and to facilitate proper understanding and communication between the supply chain about testing & compliance needs
• Partner cross-functionally with LLO raw materials and/or product QA to ensure the delivery of the right products
  

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in textile technology or textile chemistry, or textile testing
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Textile Science or Chemical Engineering
• Good knowledge of trim & raw material quality and testing, dyeing, knitting and weaving
• A high degree of proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, internet research/reporting/analysis tools
• Self-motivated, passionate, empathetic, approachable, excel in communication, project management, and analysis with a love and passion for quality
• Enjoy being the key partner and collaborating with x-functional partners and external stakeholders closely
• Able to travel (50%) and desire to elevate the world from mediocrity to greatness
• Fluency in English and Mandarin, and you love to have fun and sweat!
