Project Assistant (Contract for 4-5 months)

IDC Asia/Pacific has a vacancy for a contractor position for Asia/Pacific Research Organization, helping with the Future Enterprise Awards research. We are seeking candidates with genuine interests and resourceful in conducting secondary research on companies that have delivered digital transformational projects – for the purpose of inviting qualified organizations to nominate for the industry-recognized IDC Future Enterprise Awards. The candidate will have the opportunity to lead on topics like Cybersecurity, trust, Automation, cloud delivery, DevOps, customer experience, digital workplace, and others. The successful candidate will support research work, potentially reaching out to potential nominees, and assisting the Asia/Pacific Awards program manager to meet the Awards nominations targets.

Responsibilities:

• Lead Taiwan by recommending suitable organizations that have implemented digital transformation projects for the awards
• Invite qualified organizations for nominations for the Future Enterprise Awards and follow up on invitations through emails and/or calls
• Do briefings on the Future Enterprise Awards in Mandarin as requested for potential nominees
• May be required to support the writing of award winners’ content
• Work closely with awards, marketing, and events teams for awards-related updates and information

Qualification

• Ability to think out of the box and be resourceful in conducting secondary research
• Good analytical skills, detail-oriented, and comfortable with MS Office are required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both local and English language
• Enjoy working in fast-paced environment with the ability to learn and master new knowledge quickly
