The Role

In this position, you will join a great team in Ampere Taiwan and work with top talents in the industry, make contributions in Operations by supporting volume production. Work with team to gather yield information to drive yield improvement, disposition any low yielding wafer or final test lots at the OSAT partners, looks for yield trends from WAT to wafer sort to make recommendations for wafer fab improvement as it relates to yield. Also be part of the new product development team to transfer and ramp new product into volume production.

What you’ll do

  • Support ARM Server CPU characterization, bring up, maintenance and failure analysis from NPI to high volume production on ATE
  • Work closely with supply-chain partners and external vendors on test coverage, test hardware(WS, FT, SLT) debug and test program implementation
  • Drive optimization and continuous improvement efforts on production test yields
  • Responsible for production lot disposition and low yield analysis/debug
  • Cost reduction through yield improvement, test time reduction, and other techniques

What you’ll bring

  • Solid background in ATE testing, test methodology, and DFT/DFM
  • Knowledge of semiconductor fundamentals and CMOS circuits
  • knowledge of statistical methods and process control
  • Written and verbal presentation skills in English.
  • Be a team player!

Education & Experience

  • BSEE or MSEE with 1+ years in semiconductor product test engineering experience
  • Software development skills, C/C++, Python
  • Experiences with ATE platforms – Advantest 93K preferred
