Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and facilitate the design, development, and implementation of equipment and process changes of various ICS product lines to achieve business sustainability goals.
  • Work closely with internal cross-functional team and external vendors to identify equipment and material options for sustainability improvement on ICS’ high priority programs.
  • Manage data gathering and analysis for product life cycle assessment (LCA) such as GHG emission, water usage and energy usage; conduct sustainability impact analysis and provide update to internal stakeholders.
  • Research on emerging sustainable technologies to reduce energy, carbon, water and waste intensities from ICS’ daily operation.
  • Manage key supplier relations and generate general industry understanding regarding availability, cost and innovations.
  • Actively engage with local and national industry groups and participate in conferences and webinars.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of directly related experience in leading programs related to sustainability improvement (experience in energy surveys and life cycle assessment is a plus).
  • Industry experience in environmental engineering, consulting or project management (preferably in the life sciences or manufacturing sectors).
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and preferably a Master’s degree or relevant advanced training.
  • Strong written and verbal skills; experience in working with a global cross-functional team.
  • Enthusiastic and resilient, innovative and technically grounded.
