DescriptionThe Role
In this position, you will join a great team in Ampere, Taiwan, and work with top industry talents, contributing to operations by supporting volume production. Work with the team to gather yield information to drive yield improvement, disposition any low-yielding wafer or final test lots at the OSAT partners, and look for yield trends from WAT to wafer sort to make recommendations for wafer yield improvements. Also, be part of the new product development team to transfer and ramp new products into volume production.
What You’ll Do
- Support ARM Server CPU characterization, bring up, maintenance, and failure analysis from NPI to high volume production on ATE
- Work closely with supply-chain partners and external vendors on test coverage, test hardware(WS, FT, SLT) debugging, and test program implementation
- Drive optimization and continuous improvement efforts on production test yields
- Responsible for production lot disposition and low-yield analysis/debug
- Cost reduction through yield improvement, test time reduction, and other techniques
- Yield management database setup and management
- Solid background in ATE testing, test methodology, and DFT/DFM
- Knowledge of semiconductor fundamentals and CMOS circuits
- Knowledge of statistical methods and process control
- Software development skills, Python programming
- Experiences with ATE platforms – Advantest 93K is preferred
- Experience with PDF Exensio is a plus
- Written and verbal presentation skills in English.
- Be a team player!
- BSEE with 8+ years or MSEE with 6+ years in semiconductor product test engineering experience
