The Operations Strategy Project Manager, Micro Electronics provides analytical and strategic planning guidance to the Vice President, Operations – Micro Electronics & Asia and his Leadership Team to develop and deploy the manufacturing strategy for Asia.

Essential Job Functions
  • Partners with and supports VP of Operations and VP of Project Management to develop footprint strategy for Asia.
  • Researches relevant cost data, investment policies, and logistics for Asian countries to identify optimal locations for manufacturing expansion.
  • Develops strategic, impactful assessments and business cases for site expansion opportunities in various Asian countries.
  • Evaluates current Pall Asia site costs to recommend strategic operational improvements and alignment of best practices to improve performance and drive towards results.
  • Leads Global Project Managers for Asia Footprint activities
  • Proactively interfaces with BU Product Managers and Leadership to understand and incorporate business needs in footprint change or expansion plans
  • Maintains a high-level Operational understanding of the value streams of customers and Pall manufacturing sites and the financial components of the value streams (volume, overhead cost, labor cost, standards, yields, productivity, etc..).
Minimum Qualifications
  • 10 + years of diversified manufacturing management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in working in Multinational Company with a Matrix organization.
  • BS degree in Engineering, Finance or Business Administration.
  • MBA or Master’s degree in Management, Operations Management, and/or technical field preferred.
  • Experience in manufacturing site location selection.
  • Work experience in multiple Asian countries a plus.
  • Experience leading global project teams.
  • Knowledge of the regulatory and quality requirements for industry and customers.
  • Knowledge of the Global Marketplace with experience ideally in filtration and separation processes or related discipline.
  • Located in Asia.
  • Fluent English required, fluent in either Chinese or Japanese will be a plus.
