Operations Manager

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Accountable for delivering project operations consistently, and in line with Client and Company standards and expectations
• Manage the personnel skill pool to maintain the required resources for delivering projects
• Oversee the operation of company assets to ensure that they are in an appropriate state of readiness to mobilise onto a project
• Interfacing with key stakeholders in the offshore business to give and receive support when appropriate
• Accountable for the Safety performance of our project operations
• Visibly lead our safety effort
• Provide support for Operations Risk Assessment
• Provide support, and where required, lead investigation and after-action review processes for operational related items
• Provide support with equipment and vessel selection for the operations
• Provide support to project teams for equipment mobilisation planning

Requirement:

Essential experience

• Complex projects mobilisation and operations planning
• Offshore experience in a position of project engineer / marine crew
• Team management with personnel allocation to operations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional planning and organisational skills

Desirable experience

• Experience with geophysical surveys
• Experience with light geotechnical surveys
• Experience with Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV)
• Experience in offshore wind farm operations
