Interact directly with customers to provide drug discovery services for oncology: arrange projects, draft protocols, oversee experiments, then analyze and communicate dataProvide scientific consultative support to current and potential clients, in collaboration with our global field sales team. This will include interpretation and written and/or verbal summarization of client dataProvide study designs, proposals with pricing, and support contract execution with client support and business development rolesCoordinate studies internally allocating all study materials and animals, laboratory facilities, and employee timeAuthor technical protocols, reports and SOPs, in English, of study methods and the analysis and interpretation in vivo oncology study dataManage multiple projects and deliverables and assign prioritiesManagement responsibilities will be required including interviewing, hiring, and training employees; assigning and directing work; appraising performance; resolving problems; and coaching of employees.Work closely with Business Development to expand oncology business and achieve annual sales revenue target.Plan updates to the oncology service portfolio to align with the operational capabilities, the market demand, and financial resources.Work closely with Marketing and Business Development to prepare business plans for oncology servicesCollaborate with Marketing to produce scientific marketing materials such as white papers, symposia presentations, and technical content for the website.Position responds to a global client-base. As such, off-hours availability is occasionally required to conduct business during non-USA clients’ normal business hours.Periodic domestic and international travel are required to visit prospective or current client companies to make presentations, interact with Eurofins’ operational personnel, and attend relevant scientific meetings.Maintain current working knowledge of drug discovery and development processes and technologies to effectively advise clients, direct operations and plan the service portfolio.
Required skills:
Experience and proven knowledge of pre-clinical in vivo cancer pharmacology research and immunology/immune-oncologyExperience in outsourcing of scientific experimentation, either as a client or provider is required.Hands-on leadership within an in vivo cancer pharmacology research laboratoryKnowledge of in vitro oncology laboratory operations and assay developmentFamiliarity with the statistical analysis and graphing of pre-clinical cancer pharmacology data with software such as PrismExperience with lab management and leading a project team with time and quality deliverablesExcellence in scientific report writing, in English, with a primary authorship of published scientific researchExcellent spoken communication in English and Mandarin for client presentationsComputer skills with Microsoft OfficePh. D. in pharmaceutical science, oncology or related discipline and/or a minimum of 10 years academic, and/or professional research experience is required.
