NPI/NTI Test hardware validation engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of NPI/NTI project discussion that addressing continuous improvements of test hardware (HW)
• Co-work with BL/engineer on design review of NPI PCB, probe card, and mechanical to ensure hardware validation comply with release criteria
• Perform hardware PCB, probe card and mechanical parts incoming check, welding/soldering, repairing, modification and parcel shipments
• Perform engineering activities, hardware verification, troubleshoot, debug, test parts and qualification
• All mechanical aspects of automated testing: Socket design, Handler kit design, reliability issues, understanding of the robustness of the solution
• Able to provide feedback to customer/engineer team on best practices for releasing a good quality test solution for high volume manufacturing
• Loadboard design and tester hardware knowledge, be able to understand how and why a certain instrument is used, be able to debug the Loadboard
• Issues and fix, come up with creative solutions during engineers phase while ensuring customer is given feedback on production worthy hardware design.

Accountability

• Ensure NPI test hardware fully validated before release to customer, and production
• Lesson learned and technical sharing with team
• Ensure all hardware changes been written in document, store in database
• Ensure operation procedures comply with factory 5S standards, and EHS rules

Skills/Experience

• Master degree in electrical and electronics engineering
• Good communication in English read/write/listen/speak
• Good experiences in usage MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint, and Word
• Good communication, team work, and willing to share experiences and support each other to achieve business goals
• 3 Basic knowledge and experience in electronic instrumentation and measurements
• Good experience of leading team discussion and provide a proposal to resolve problem
• Willing to accept challenges and work indenpendly
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in Semiconductors, knowledge of ATE tester, Advantest 93k PS1600 (optional)
• Experiences of data analysis EY (Exensio-Yield), and Optimal+ (optional)
