Job Description

Job Description Summary:

Job Description: ADI is seeking an experienced Applications Engineer to support Low Power Microcontroller Products for the Wearable, IOT & Industrial sensor market space in Taiwan. The Application Engineer will report to the product management team in Dallas TX.

Responsibilities
  • Develop product expertise for Low Power Microcontroller product line
  • Understand the customer application, consulting on right architecture, help in debugging issues and application code development.
  • Review & validate customer schematics
  • Capture and communicate application, system, and product requirements for new products to the business team
  • Analyze competitor products in regional market and perform performance benchmarking
  • Generate application notes & white papers for the regional market.
Requirements
  • 5 years of work experience in Microcontroller applications,
  • Candidate should be able to individually design circuits based on Microcontrollers, Regulators, op amps, memories, RTCs and serial Interface transceivers
  • Candidate should have worked on troubleshooting and debugging schematics
  • Candidate should have worked on complete software development for embedded products
  • Hands on development on Cortex M & Cortex A Core including experience in RTOS based software development
  • Good Knowledge of writing software programs in C/C++ language
  • Good communication and presentation skills for interacting with customers (Mandarin & English)
  • Need to travel domestically or abroad
Recommended
  • Insight in to power supply, microcontroller and analog PCB Layout design tips can be an added advantage.
  • Candidate should have worked on at least any one or two of these serial interface stacks example BLE , NFC
  • Hands-On experience, Systems knowledge on development for wearable, IOT applications
  • Written any technical notes/application /user guides
