【Job Description】

• Develop and support pricing, branding, advertising, direct and indirect marketing of company products.
• Define market segments, market strategy and profitability of new business opportunities.
• Create new product line roadmaps to guide technology development and drive adoption of new products.
• Coordinate with marketing, sales, engineering, and financial plans in support of identified segment strategies.
• Collaborate with R&D, Applications Engineering, and I/O to develop and complete product definitions.
• Recommend new product concepts, product enhancements and new product priorities based on market research, voice of customer, input from trade shows, consortium/university to find requirements and new market trends.
• Plan and manage new product launches including creating product launch content.
• Analyze competitors, recommend product(s) to better the competition and improve our competitive situation.
• Reviews existing product life cycles, ensure attainment of business objectives.
• Work effectively with Product Managers to keep product line up relevant and profitable.
  

[Job Qualification]

• B.S. Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering and a Master’s or PhD Degree in a relevant scientific field is required.
• M.B.A. is considered “an advantage” but is not required. Candidates looking to obtain an MBA are encouraged.
• At least 5 years of experience in the Electronic Materials, experience in semiconductor related materials (e.g. CMP, Litho, Cleans, and Packaging), personal relationships with semiconductor related companies have been established.
• Track record of success developing and launching innovative technology and/or new products to the market.
• Experience with either New Product Introduction (NPI), product commercialization framework (PCF) or another “stage gate” type new product commercialization process is highly desirable.
• Fluent English skills.
  

[Location/Travel requirements]

• Preferred location is Taiwan. Korea is optional. Travel to the US for training may be required depending on the candidate. Regular travel is expected. Most travel is within Asia with periodic visits to the US and Europe. Total travel 20-30% minimum.
