Purpose & Overall Relevance For The Organisation

The position leads the accounting team to drive consistency and alignment of Accounting /Treasury/Tax operation process to enusre compliance with Global process, company policy and local regulations

Key Responsibilities

Accounting

• Develop, review and maintain proper and adequate accounting records for operation of the company, consistent with corporate policy and requirements of law.
• Ensure the most updated Group Finance Manual in use
• Ensure that Reporting & Controlling processes provide high quality, accurate and timely information that meets the needs of both internal and external managers and decision makers
• Attends to queries from internal departments in relation to Finance policy and procedures.
  

Internal Control and Processes

• Ensure proper company policy and process maintained
• Ensure the compliance of company policy and process to maintain the sound internal control system. Identifies issues and potential improvement and recommends solutions.
  

Tax

• Supervise timely preparation and submission of Tax report including withholding tax, VAT to government authorities
• Supervise timely corporate income tax filing
  

Legal

• Supervise the coordination for key contract drafting and reviewing, focus on identifying the legal risks and recommendation.
• Supervise the use of external legal advisors
• Supervise company registration and documentation
  

Treasury

• Direct the proper forecast sequence and management of cash flow
• Supervise the maintenance of adequate funds to meet operational and financial requirements
  

Personnel Management

• Lead, supervise, develop and motivate the accounting Team
• Set performance target for each team member, monitor and evaluate their performance
• Provide coaching, advice and guidance for team members
  

Key Relationships

• Finance planning and analysis team,
• Global business center Dalian
• Internal department including brand, sales, retail, ECOM, Supply chain, HR and admin departments
  

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Excellent knowledge of Finance and Accounting principles, processes, structures and management Strategies & concepts.
• Strong financial statement analysis capability paired with a well-developed business acumen and multiple years of hands-on experience in commercial finance in an operational Finance environment.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions stakeholders and cross functional business leaders
• Fluency in written & spoken English
• Familiarity with SAP required
• Advanced in Excel/Word/PowerPoint
  

Requisite Education And Experience / Minimum Qualifications

• University degree in accounting field.
• Minimum of 8 years progressive Finance and Accounting experience.
• Minimum of 5 years management experience.
• Previous experience in an International Company/Environment.
• Big 4 CPA firms experience.
