Job Description

Role:

LKS is looking for a highly experienced technical engineer to join its team of technical trainers to support all Film and Scatterometry Technology (FaST) product training, with specific expertise for the ASET F5x and SpectraFx, and UV Tools.

Responsibilities:

The instructor will be responsible to engage in various training and development activities with senior instructors, NPI engineers, manufacturing engineers and PSO team members. The instructor is encouraged to be proficient on their assigned training tool, and develop training material, training plans, validate service documentation/procedures, and deliver well-managed training to field engineers.

  • Responsible for conducting technical training courses crafted to instruct internal employees the knowledge and skills required for service and maintain all Film and Scatterometry Technology (FaST) products both in classroom lectures and laboratory sessions.
  • Conduct Customer training at a KLA training facility or Customer onsite to perform basic maintenance and system recovery on the KLA FaST products.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, NPI, and Manufacturing when developing a new course to ensure the training material reflects current product features.
  • Review and update product procedures used for training by submitting ICRs
  • Develop and implement blended learning into the curriculum by using AR/VR, WBT, or Videos to improve the Training.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Level Degree with at least 2 years of work experience, or bachelor’s Level Degree with 3 years’ work experience.
  • Preferred 5+ years of field service or technical training on Thin Film and Critical Dimension metrology products.
  • Proven experience in onsite customer service is highly desirable.
  • Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for acquiring solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal English language skills and ability to communicate comfortably with an international audience.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Good understanding of customer technical issue.
  • Show experience in handling high pressure situation on critical issues in unstructured or unexpected environments and able to work under stress.
  • Up to 10% international travel may be required.
