This position manages Costco key customers and deliver company’s growth goals through effective collaboration with key customers and solid commercial planning. He/she also plays an active role in making commercial decisions and listing new products with cross function support. This role will be responsble for Costco sales target achievement by developing short- and mid-term key account strategies and managing trade spending within budget.

Sales

  • Develop effective short- and mid-term channel & customer strategy and plan for Costco.
  • Responsible for the full cycle of sales and business development from planning, execution, customer relationship management, and budget control perspective.
  • Accountable for Costco channel management, working together and aligning with Trade Marketing, Marketing and other functions to meet strategic commercial objectives.
  • Accountable for customer annual contract negotiation and regular promotion planning negotiation.
  • Prepare monthly reports for market performance analysis and action plan development.
  • Timely update market trend and customer strategic direction to ensure execution of company plan and budget achievement.
  • Deal with issues or requests proposed by the key customer with cross functional support.

Collaboration with Trade Marketing

  • Work closely with Trade Marketing to develop channel strategies that maximize sales opportunity and brand market share while balancing customer satisfaction.
  • Provide timely feedback from customer to develop effective trade plan or adjust current plan with Trade Marketing.
  • Leverage marketing campaigns and new product launch planned by cross functions, to achieve company goals and drive customer growth in the key channel.

Collaboration with Supply Chain

  • Responsible for customer business planning and submit monthly forecast to Supply Chain according to commercial planning cycle.
  • Continuously improve forecast accuracy and develop action plan to address the gap vs forecast plan.
  • Coordinate with customers for issues of order and delivery.

Collaboration with Finance

  • Manage trade spending within budget and drive customer P&L to maximize company profitability.
  • Responsible for monthly trade spend accrual and provide related evidence for actual spending process to Accounting team.

Qualification and Experience Requirements

  • 8+ years solid key account management experience in well-known MNC FMCG companies, especially with Costco for 2-3 years and above.
  • Strong customer planning, execution, and relationship management skills.
  • Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational and interpersonal sales skills.
  • Ability to build cross-functional collaboration with multiple departments/stakeholders.
  • Good analytical skills with a high proficiency in MS Excel, Power Point, and Word.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to thrive in a fast pace environment.
  • High degree of self-motivation and problem solving.
  • Fluent in English.
