  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in developing hardware IP, ISP tuning, ISP algorithms, image pipelines, consumer camera, or computational photography techniques.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience with imaging system tuning and quality evaluation, including imaging hardware, image signal processing, and post-processing imaging algorithms.
  • Experience coding in C/C++/Python.
  • Knowledge of camera imaging pipeline, and imaging algorithms.
  • Knowledge of image quality metrics.

About The Job

In this role, you will design excellent features and functions of image systems to make Android cameras useful in versatile products. You will be involved in camera processing, tuning, and design, including image quality tuning, automatic system development to optimize the tuning and calibration process, new algorithms and features evaluation, and related lab plans.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Architecture, Image Quality, Software, and Tuning teams to develop solutions to achieve quality goals and commercialize real products.
  • Work cross-functionally with Hardware teams to support algorithm implementation.
  • Develop automatic processes to improve coverage and make the tuning process more efficient.
  • Develop Image Signal Processing (ISP) tuning methods and tools for novel pipelines.
