HV Design Engineer

• Responsible for High-Voltage (HV) design and grid connection (GC) management, facility, equipment, transmission line, plan, design, and review.
• Familiar with Taiwan’s power grid structure and can cooperate with Business Development team to power grid connect survey and grid contact solution pre-assessment work.
• Responsible for Tai Power Company and electrical Project Engineering coordination and management.
• Coordinate between contractors, consultants and third parties with good communication and management skills.
• Good understanding with local / international grid regulations, standards, compliance.
• Well selection and plan for related equipment on specifications and installations.
• To ensure the satisfaction at local code compliance on HV design and construction.
• Report and management of design work with good language and computer skills.
• Evaluation on suppliers and contractors for HV and GC related works.
• Support project achievement, risk management and resource optimization.
• Field variant evaluation and good value engineering to optimize best practices for projects.
• Cowork with multiple teams on HV and GC assessment to support project development.
• Responsible for HV work related to instruction and protocols, such as equipment installation and testing, material transportation and traffic plan, construction safety and security, etc.
• Assist to identify, clarify, and resolve issues which impact projects.
