Role & Responsibilities:
The GL Accountant consists of performing any combination of routine calculating, posting and verifying duties to obtain daily accounting activities.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to.
1. Assist in balance sheet and bank reconciliations.
2. Support with Month-End closing, which includes the preparation and entering of journal entries.
3. Responds to financial inquiries by gathering, analyzing, summarizing, and interpreting data.
4. Assist various departments in accounting issues and queries.
5. Analyze and perform foreign currency exchanges.
6. Gathering supporting documentation and performing recordkeeping.
7. Adhere to standard accounting principles and company procedures.
8. Assist with Ad-Hoc task requested by managers or directors.

Qualifications:

1. University graduate or above with major in accounting/finance.
2. 3 – 5+ years of hands-on experience in finance/accounting/auditing.
3. High proficiency in attention to detail.
4. Good team player with strong communication and coordination skills.
5. Good command on written & spoken English.
