• Experience in system software development on embedded systems.
• Experience with wireless technologies (e.g., LTE or 5G).
• Experience with modem log analysis and visualization.

As a Firmware Engineer, you will work with Google’s data infrastructure and machine intelligence technologies. You will build tools and systems to unify heterogeneous data, generate actionable insights, and optimize business processes, reshaping various aspects of modem software development with the power of data and automation.

The Google Pixel team focuses on designing and delivering the world’s most helpful mobile experience. The team works on shaping the future of Pixel devices and services through some of the most advanced designs, techniques, products, and experiences in consumer electronics. This includes bringing together the best of Google’s artificial intelligence, software, and hardware to build global smartphones and create transformative experiences for users across the world.

Responsibilities

• Build a holistic data foundation that organizes heterogeneous data from different phases of the life cycle of modem software.
• Work with cross-functional stakeholders to identify tooling needs and automation opportunities and translate them into project proposals.
• Scope, plan, and oversee the execution of engineering projects to ensure quality and timely delivery.
