Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 3 years of experience in silicon bring-up or validation
• Experience of developing silicon validation tests and debugging post-silicon issues
• Experience in general-purpose programming language (i.e., C)
  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science
• Experience in factory testing
• Experience with software debug tools (gdb), hardware debug tools (JTAG/TRACE32)
• Experience with Android, Embedded Linux, RTOSes or bare metal software and experience with Python programming

As a Factory Silicon Testing Engineer, you will enable the factory testing methodology for volume ramp. You will work with test planning, integration, stabilization and debugging on a variety of post-silicon platforms. In this role, you will collaborate with many IP teams to support factory volume ramp tasks. You will build a deep understanding of the post-silicon characterization and use it to improve the factory yield.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for factory testing planning, test development/stabilization, and error debugging to support the silicon volume ramp at the system level.
• Collaborate with Design and Validation leads to support the factory testing platform.
• Collaborate with internal test engineers, partner engineers, and contract manufacturers on screening parts, debugging RMAs, signing-off on the factory releases.
• Collect the post-silicon characterization data to improve the production quality and yield.
