Summary:

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Monitor environmental compliance landscape and prepare company for new requirements and entry into new markets.

• Work with engineering and product development to utilize ecodesign/design for environment principles.

• Coordinate with sales and product managers to move forward priority systems for Energy Star/EPEAT.

• Identify all country packaging requirements, and work with engineering to assure environmentally compliant packaging solutions.

• Drive contract manufacturers to implement environmental compliance requirements.

• Conduct environmental compliance audits at company or supplier facilities according to policy and guidelines.

• Identify and organization company involvement in product recycling and reuse programs.

• Support implementation of health and safety management system.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required- Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Biology or a related field is preferred.

• Strong understanding of materials sciences and green chemistry affecting the electronics industry.

• Prior experience with environmental product compliance and/or facility environmental compliance for a manufacturing company.

• Ability to interpret, apply and operationalize compliance requirements affecting the company.

• Adept at using new software, ability to utilize a variety of database systems.

• Strong interpersonal skills, including ability to lead and coordinate stakeholders.

• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
