Defines customs and export control strategy, policies, processes and procedures on a country level in cooperation with central SGRE Export Control and Customs functions. Ensures implementation of global export control and customs strategy and requirements in order to guarantee the fulfillment of all organizational and legal requirements.

Your new role

• You step into a newly created role that you develop in alignment with the Head of ECC APAC & India and the local requirements
• You support the implementation of a lawful and efficient export control and customs compliance system for Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy in APAC
• You support the implementation of global and local ECC tools and processes in APAC and cooperate with SGRE´s global partners
• You support developing an ECC communication and training program tailored to the respective audience and conduct training sessions
• You are responsible to collect and communicate information on relevant national export control and customs legislation in Taiwan
• Together with the central ECC functions you identify and analyze local and global export control and customs related risks in business processes and support implementation of appropriate mitigation measures
• You develop a local Internal Control Program (ICP) for export control and customs based on SGREs global policies, procedures and instructions
• You set up and coordinate the local customs and export control activities and introduce simplified procedures when applicable and beneficial
• You set up, monitor and control the customs and export control processes of the new SGRE factory in Taichung and the projects in Taiwan (including applicable customs simplifications like FTZ or bonded manufacturing)
• You are responsible for the broker management in Taiwan
• You are acting as coordinator between central ECC functions and SGRE´s different Business Units to support all their business relevant global border-crossing projects
• You are the contact person towards Taiwanese Customs and Foreign Trade Authorities
• You are the contact person for external and internal customs and export control audits and coordinate all activities with support of the central ECC functions
  

Qualifications

• You have successfully completed a BA in international management, logistics or economics
• You worked minimum 5 years in international supply chain functions
• You have experience in developing and implementing customs concepts by using customs procedures with economic impact (e.g. Free Trade Zone operations and Bonded Manufacturing) and FTAs
• You have a good understanding of local export control and customs regulations as well as U.S. (re-) export control regulations
• You have experience in broker management
• You have advanced knowledge of logistics and sales processes and a deep understanding of project business, preferably in the wind power industry
• You are familiar with the development and implementation of new policies, concepts, IT tools and processes
• You have advanced project management skills
• You have a sound knowledge of SAP, especially MM/SD modules and foreign trade functionalities
• You speak the native language of Taiwan, your English skills are business fluent, preferably you have working experience abroad
• Assertiveness and customer orientation characterize your personality
• You have strong communication and moderation skills and approach topics in an open and proactive way
• Willingness to minor travelling required (<10%)
