We have a need for an energetic candidate for an E-2C Hawkeye Airframe and Power Plants Field Service Representative (FSR) position. Secret clearance is required. This requisition is for a long-term assignment in Taiwan and requires a two-year commitment in country (Taiwan). This is an accompanied position. The candidate must be able to work outside in a flight line environment in different conditions. The Airframe and Power Plants FSR supports the customer providing technical advice, training, and troubleshooting assistance to organizational level technicians and maintenance leadership for the operation and repair of the Airframe and Power Plants systems in the E-2C Hawkeye.

Performs a variety of operations to assemble and make major assembly structures such as fuselage panels and bulkheads, and structural subassemblies such as rudders, flaps, and stabilizers. Aligns parts on jigs using templates and fixtures. Performs such minor part-fitting operations as filing, sawing, burring, crimping, trimming, framing, riveting, drilling, and reaming. Measures parts with micrometers and calipers to verify dimensions. May modify incomplete and complete assemblies to incorporate changes to structure. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

The successful candidate will have frequent face-to-face interaction with the Taiwanese customer to discuss maintenance and operational activities of the aircraft. The E-2C Airframe and Power Plants systems includes all Control surfaces (rudders, flaps, ailerons, etc.), to include hydraulics systems and flight control rigging. The successful candidate will demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of all Airframe and Power Plants systems aboard the aircraft.

You must be abIe to identify and solve complex problems in the challenging environment of an organizational level squadron in a foreign location with a foreign customer. You will also collaborate with teammates and use reach-back to engineering for problem analysis and resolution.

The successful candidate will provide instruction, training, liaison, problem reporting and technical advice using logic and reasoning to identify causes of system discrepancies and provide the customer with solutions. You must be familiar with the NAMP 4790 and applicable NAVAIR technical publications. As required, you will generate and submit activity reports for management. You will be required to follow all Export compliance guidelines.

Basic Qualifications

Must currently have and maintain a valid US passport.

5 years with a Bachelor’s Degree or 9 years in lieu of degree.

Must have and maintain an active secret DOD clearance

Must have comprehensive written and verbal English communication skills.

Must have the ability to work flexible schedules to accommodate customer maintenance requirements

Preferred Qualifications

Strong preference to candidates who have supported U.S. Navy E-2 squadrons on deployment. Must be open to change and different cultural norms. Willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges. Must be persistent in the face of obstacles.

Conducts technical analysis of product implementations, modifications and enhancements to product in accordance with specific customer specifications and implementations. Troubleshoots technical problems and issues, determines technical solution in accordance with product and customer specifications, and recommends actions to company or customer representatives for coordinative product solution. Assesses product needs in accordance with customer specifications. Conducts technical training and product briefing with customers, vendors and company representatives. Acts as local on-site representative to customers organization.

Salary Range: $76,000 USD - $114,000 USD
