Summary

Supermicro is seeking a passionate and seasoned director who will drive and develop online server business. The ideal candidate not only should have a blend of experience in product management, technology outlook and customer-centric background; he/she also needs to demonstrate leadership quality with proven execution record.

Job description

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):

• Collaborate with system team to develop system roadmap and selling strategy for online business

• Lead market analysis to identify business opportunities with emphasis on small business segment

• Work with senior management to set revenue targets and promotional plans

• Maintain customer relationships, develop and grow customer base

• Utilize internal/marketing teams to generate demand and revenue

• Collaborate with internal teams on continuous process and operation improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or engineering field is required

• 10 years of experience in selling configurable systems (compute/storage/network servers) or related HW business

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in leading market expansion, business development, and/or strategy

• Strong communication skills across internal and external customers

• Self-motivated, resourceful and creative mindset

• Demonstrate strong organizational, planning and analytical skills

• Ability to lead, collaborate and execute within cross-functional team and fast pace environments.
