About Our Group

Seagate Customer Technical Engagement (CTE) group is seeking an experienced solid-state drive (SSD) engineer. The CTE group is responsible for creating an exceptional customer support experience with our Seagate products using Voice of the Customer feedback and active pre and post launch customer advocacy. CTE provides best-in-class technical support to our customers and partners Sales to promote Seagate products and grow business.

About The Role - You Will
  • Work with SSD component partners along the development stages
  • Support SSD development team for conducting experiments and resolving technical issues
  • Issue tracking and problem solving in the released product phase
  • Conduct SSD test, analyze data, organize test results, and write test reports
  • Participate in the SSD qualification tests with customer systems
About You
  • Knowledge of SSD device at component level and technical theory
  • Knowledge of development and validation processes of storage device products
  • Knowledge of storage device interfaces, such as SAS, SATA, and PCI Express
  • Familiar with SSD performance test and diagnostic tools and capable of test data analysis and result interpretation
  • System knowledge of storage devices for Enterprise Server, Desktop, and Notebook Computer applications
  • A successful candidate should have strong teamwork qualities as well as communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good technical writing and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated individual with a strong willingness to learn and grow
Your Experience Includes
  • Project experience of SSD/PC/Server products
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering and/or equivalent
  • Knowledge in electrical, computer science, or related engineering technology
  • Language skill - good oral and written skills for communication and documentation in English
You may also have
  • Experience with SSD/HDD performance test and diagnostic tools
  • Knowledge of NAND characterization
  • Knowledge of Linux, VMware, and File System Structures
  • Python programing skill
