Responsible for improvement of KPIs. Support the development of production reports and analysis.Main Areas of ResponsibilityContinuous Improvement

• Lead/coordinate Tobacco Processing(TP) and Make/Pack continuous improvement (CI), including all related activities like 5S3R programs, KAIZEN, QM and TPM. Energize, support and lead people and teams for suggestions and CI-programs.

Production Support

• Support all production activities necessary to produce planned products in line with specification, quality standards, tobacco yield, NTM yield and KPI’s. Supportive position for KPI calculation and coordinate further improvement.
• Support various production reports and analysis.
• Support reports and analyses preparation upon Production analyst request.

Quality Improvement

• Support Quality Department for improvement activities, procedure & instruction development.
• Evaluate projects based on data and KPIs.

Production Cost & KPI

• Support the analysis of production resources consumption. (Cost)
• Support for database development and analysis, as well as production output reporting (KPI).

Ad-hoc Projects

• Participate in development of process optimization plans. Initiate relevant projects.

Environment, Health and Safety (for all shopfloor colleagues)

• Ensure health and safety aspects at work and learn about potential hazards, know and maintain required control measures in order to keep the workplace healthy and safe.
• Ensure compliance to the JTI health and safety requirements associated with the work hazards, comply with all applicable health and safety rules and procedures as well as the cooperation on the continuous improvement process.
• Demonstrate safe behavior, report incidents and near misses to their supervisor, report identified unsafe conditions and behaviors to the supervisor and carry out any measures to eliminate them.

People management

• Recruit, motivate and guide the professional development of the team reporting directly and indirectly to the incumbent.

Other

• Manage various tasks and projects as they arise and upon manager’s request.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required

• Education Technician or Engineering related (mechanical, electrical or industrial)
• Language Skills English language for effective verbal and written communication, PC MS-Office.
• Functional Skills Knowledge and experience of production technologies, standards of factory improvement programs, Lean Manufacturing (KAIZEN, TPM, TQP, JIT), ISO/EHS
