About EMQ

EMQ is a fintech start-up offering cross-border payment rails to select Banks, PSP’s and MSB’s. We operate a proprietary payment system and a unique network infrastructure that connects to domestic Instant Payment, RTGS/DNS or ACH clearing systems as well as other money movement ecosystems around the world.

Our mission is to enhance remitter and beneficiary experience by providing a seamless, faster, cheaper, secure service with certainty of delivery and credit confirmation. We provide individuals and businesses an alternative settlement solution from the traditional Correspondent Banking network. We focus on processing B2B and C2C flows with a versatile Last-Mile delivery Endpoints proposition: bank accounts, e-wallets, cards or cash.

We have an acute understanding of risks related to cross-border payments settlement and always maintain high compliance standards and adhere to regulations.


The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced and self-driven Filipino (Tagalog) -speaking Community Manager to enable EMQ SEND the Filipino communities. You will be in charge of various initiative projects and executing community outreaching programs to steadily grow the number of active product users.

Responsibilities
  • Define and execute the go-to-market strategies and processes with internal and external stakeholders
  • Collect, organize, analyze and prepare marketing/sales materials for target/potential customers; increase the effectiveness of each business promotion activity
  • Estimate, design and evaluate marketing programs and continue optimization
  • Build a scalable community program to enhance existing customer loyalty and attract new customer
  • Maintain customer/ market data; statistic-centric analysis of competitor brand and activities; identify EMQ’s product branding/edges /weaknesses/ tactics for future promotion campaigns
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree equivalent or above is preferred; at least 2+ years of digital marketing relevant work experience is a plus
  • Articulate in both written and spoken forms of Filipino is a must; mid-level English or Chinese proficiency will be highly valued
  • Able to coordinate/collaborate with a variety of stakeholders for marketing events; perform community outreach programs to gain necessary exposure
  • Data analytics: you are analytical-driven, able to dive into data and get insights and use data to support your decisions; sensitive to the growth/decrease in user data as evidence
  • Technology savvy: you are a savvy user of each active social media or tools
  • Proactive, passionate, and positive; strong engaging communication and interpersonal skills, autonomous and resourceful in solution-seeking
  • Experiences with App product marketing/promotion or prior experience in a start-up or tech company is a great asset
