Chemical Process Engineer

Jobinhalt

• Participate in developing and implementing manufacturing processes of chemical etching, ion-exchange and surface treatment on substrate surface for different products.
• Lead/ support experimentation of process development for new clean lines and fundamental understandings.
• Lead/support the effort for manufacturing process improvements, operational performance, cost reductions, capacity expansions, technology development and transfer initiatives for all Corning businesses and operations in Asia.
• Lead/support transfer and scale up the technology to divisions and manufacturing plants with full implementation of training and documentation systems (Standard Operation Procedures, PCPD, FMEA, MSDS, Rosh and Training)
• Perform effective communication with interdisciplinary teams internal and external to ensure execution of projects.
• Plan and execute project with project management skill effectively.
• Job requires periodic travel to Corning Incorporated and supplier’s locations in Asia and USA for process development for new products, new operation and process improvement projects.
  

• Bachelor and above with Engineering
• Self-starter, passionate and have a technical curiosity
• Experience in field work to deliver surface treatment and cleaning related processes (new line installation/throughput improvement) to manufacturing plants
• Hands on knowledge of substrate surface properties, chemical etching, ion-exchange and surface treatment technologies and surface characterization.
