The Role

• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment used in pumping or vacuum applications.
• Certificate in Technical Education or equivalent knowledge through experience is required.
• Must be PC literate and be able to use windows driven software’s.
• Able to lead, motivate and supervise a team of staff to achieve targets possess good basic organisational, leadership skills and communication skills.
• Able to speak and write good English is highly desirable.
• Able to service electro-mechanical equipment and generate reports.
• An understanding of engineering drawings and circuit diagrams is required.
• Minimum 8 years experience in servicing electro/mechanical systems, single and three phase motors, solenoids and contactors. Experience in semiconductor industry is advantageous.
  

What we expect of you?

• Capacity planning, managing and labour effectiveness and productivity are key within the group.
• The main function of this role is to ensure the efficient operation of the designated multifunctional teams and to aid the operations management as appropriate.
• Provide and manage Capex proposals, SHEQ initiatives and responsibility of the resource planning pertaining to a specific work area.
• Good organisation and communication skills are required to ensure the efficiency of the operation and that of the other work areas contribute to the output of the unit.
• Leads SIM3 meeting daily
