The Role
The Buyer is key to ensure the smooth operations of the Outsourcing activities within Entegris.

The Buyer will perform day-to-day purchasing activities and be the subject matter expert in material management. He/She will work with both internal and external business partners to ensure timely and seamless supply of materials.

In This Role You Will

• Ensure material availability per MRP signals
• Manage suppliers’ production capacity and production schedules to alleviate constraints impacts and achieve on-time delivery and on-time shipment targets
• Manage consigned materials to suppliers
• Own the safety stock inventory setting to ensure optimum materials availability
• Ensure data integrity in SAP
• Act on quality or invoices issues to get them resolved timely
• Handle internal & external communications with stakeholders to meet customer service level
• Drive continuous improvements on business process and tools
  
  

Traits We Believe Make a Strong Candidate

• Familiar with SAP system
• Above 2~5 years of experience as buyer/planner in semiconductor industry
• Experienced working with suppliers globally and familiar with the International working culture
• Good knowledge of end-to-end supply chain process
• Fluent in both written and spoken English
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suites and Power BI
• Strong communications and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated capability to support and work in cross-functional environment
• Possess logical thinking and analytical skills
• Possess problem-solving skills and is flexible to get issues resolved in a timely manner
• Good time management with the ability to multitask competing priorities
• Flexibility to adapt to changing demands and schedules, including needs of the organization
• JLPT N1 certified will be a plus
