Job DescriptionThe RoleHealth and Benefits business strives to assist clients in optimizing their health and benefits plan costs, improving employee well-being and promoting employee engagement with future proof benefits design and management. We provide solutions encompassing innovative plan design, vendor evaluation and management, pricing and funding strategies, data analytics, compliance and governance strategies. We also provide advisory services including benchmarking analysis, flexible benefits, benefits harmonization, global governance and well-being solutions.As a Health and Benefits senior account executive, you will contribute to a wide variety of complex solutions which go beyond traditional insurance broking service that involves plan design, financing, delivery, ongoing management and communication of the full spectrum of health and benefit programs, including medical, life/disability, well-being, time off and flexible benefits.ExcellencePerform financial analyses including developing pricing and employee contributions strategies, modelling plan design alternatives and calculating reservesConduct benchmarking studies and other research; provide value added analyses and summariesAnalyze and compare vendor products, services and contractsDesign, distribute and evaluate responses to surveys and RFPsCommunicate and liaise effectively with colleagues regarding data collection and project executionPrepare accurate and excellence deliverables which comply with our internal performance excellence SOPPeopleBuild strong relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional teamsDemonstrate natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with clients/colleagues at all levelsClientsDeliver excellent services and recommendations to meet or exceed client expectationsIncrease efficiency within client teams by identifying ways to improve processesFinancialMeet the yearly individula and team targetsContribute to sales and marketing efforts through your work on proposals and RFPsQualificationsExperience dealing with the financials of health and benefits plans, ideally gained in a benefit consulting/brokerage firm or health underwriting or actuarial function (pricing/valuation) of an insurance company; additional experience with life/disability plans desired.Well organized and detail orientedStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to ask the right questions and seek help where appropriateAbility to respond to all communications effectively and in a timely mannerFlexibility and proven ability to diagnose and resolve issues; strong client service orientationAbility to work both independently and on client teams and enjoy a fast-paced environmentInterest and ability to think beyond the task at hand and understand how one’s work fits into the broader landscapeStrong analytical and integrative skills including ability to draw conclusions and identify trends from data in a logical, systematic wayExcellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and Power PointBachelor’s degree requiredBasic/intermediate English ability in reading and writing is required. Ability to communicate in English fluently is a plus.
