Application Lab additive Specialist is responsible for new additive function masterbatches product development & MB application in all of thermoplastic processing.

He/She must have an in-depth knowledge of relationship between additive properties and polymer structure and property , polymer compounding technology, processing & optimization.

He/She will be involved the customer visit with sales team for new product promotion. our masterbatched application focus on Package , Automotive, Fiber Industrial applications etc.

Responsibilities

• Cowork with commercial sales team in new product development to resolve the customer produced process issue or achieve customer unmet needs .
• Responsible for new products bench scale development, product & process scale up.
• Manage projects by closely communicating with cross-functional teams such as Sales, PM, purchaser, and production team .etc. to achieve the project goals.
• Responsible for ensuring product development is properly documented.
• Strong analytical skills in data analysis
• Master degree in Chemistry / Polymer Science & Technology / Materials Science/ Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in formulations & compounding knowledge.
• Possess in-depth knowledge in formulation work and development related to engineering plastics such as PE,PP,TPU ,PLA,PA, PBT,PET, PC, High temperature Polymeric, Especially familiar with difference type of fiber spinning and extrusion process technology.
• A team player with good analytical & scientific skills in development work, self-motivated and resourceful.
• Fluency in spoken and written English
• Good communication with cross functional teams
• Good skill in the office software
