JR16089 cSSD Integration Engineer, SSD Validation

Qualifications

• Expertise in the use of scripting languages, programming tools and environments
• Extensive experience programming in Python
• Experience in the storage industry in SSD, HDD, storage systems, or a related technology
• Understanding of storage interfaces including ideally PCIe/NVMe and/or SATA
• Experience with NAND flash and other non-volatile storage
• Ability to work independently with minimum day-to-day supervision
  
  

Responsibilities

• Perform firmware validation on SSD devices with aim of improving product quality and stability
• Conduct failure analysis of failures generated from integration runs and collaborate with firmware developers to resolve issues detected.
• Define and continuously refine validation test plan to achieve optimal test coverage through regular reviews and feed forward paths
• Conduct failure analysis of failures generated from validation run and collaborate with various SSD Development groups to resolve issues detected.
• Develop test automation solutions to improve testability and execution efficiency
  
  

Education Requirements

• Bachelor of Science EE, CS or equivalent required. Master’s degree preferred
