Confidential Search - we’re looking for an Executive Vice President to be based in Taipei, Taiwan. This role will report to the CEO directly and lead the company’s Sales & Marketing functions in the initial 6-12 months and gradually move to general management. Industry background from IT & Services is highly desired. The successful candidate must have proven track records in B2B2C Sales & Marketing and managing multi-functional, highly-performing teams with 100+ staff/members.Responsibilities- Develop, communicate, and implement company’s vision, mission, and overall direction. Formulate the business strategies and plans that guide the company’s short-term & long-term objectives.
- Build trust relations with key partners and stakeholders and act as a point of contact for important shareholders. Communicate effectively and establish credibility throughout the organization and with the Board of Directors as an effective developer of solutions to business challenges.
- Oversee all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission.
- Review financial and non-financial reports to devise solutions or improvements.
- Analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company survival and growth. Make major decisions affecting the organization.
- Evaluate company’s financial, operational, and sales and marketing structures to plan for continual improvements and a continual increase of operating efficiencies.
- Proven track records as a successful CEO/President handling large teams (500+) across different divisions or multiple sites, responsible for Profit & Loss.
- 20+ combined years of working experience in the fields of Internet/E-Commerce, Consumer Electronics, Telecom, or any Service delivery related business.
- 10+ combined years of sales/product planning/marketing experience. Taiwan local market and channel experience is required.
- B2C related sales/marketing/product planning experience in a competitive industry.
- Proven track record in setting and achieving challenging targets; Restructuring the organization and implementing performance evaluation system; Bringing on change and drawing up / executing business plans ; Driving strategy and drawing up a five-year plan;
- Executive presence and ability maintain calm demeanor in high stress environments
