JOB SUMMARY

NZXT is looking for an exceptional CMF Designer who is responsible for defining the color, material and finish of future NZXT products. You are part of every aspect of the design process. You will be responsible for developing our CMF strategy and solutions for all of our products and help our rapidly growing company thrive. We are looking for creative problem solvers who are also exceptional at execution.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Work closely with industrial designers to Ideate and develop solutions for colors, materials, and finishes for NZXT products .
• Present digital and physical CMF design solutions for NZXT products. Create high quality presentation materials (digital and physical) that communicate the design intent at any phase of a project and present design concepts to internal teams.
• Analyze and approve CMF for all products
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and coordinate CMF samples with suppliers.
• Research material trends within and outside of PC gaming industries.
• Create and maintain a comprehensive internal CMF library as well as a CMF process
• Work closely with Industrial Designers and manage multiple programs under the guidance of Design Management to develop CMF solutions for products from early concept through to production

EXPERIENCE

• A BFA or BS in Industrial Design, Material Design, Transportation Design or related field is a must.
• Must have at least 3+ years of CMF working experience in Product/Industrial Design or Product Development.
• Professional experience in consumer electronics or computer related fields is a huge plus.

SKILLS

• Able to work independently as well as with a team.
• Able to work under pressure as well as under extremely tight deadlines.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of PC gaming industrial or related field is a plus.
• Must display an eagerness to learn and a willingness to accept constructive criticism and thrive in a collaborative environment.
• Demonstrate high color acuity
• Understanding of materials, mass production and manufacturing processes is a must.
• Proficiency in 3D rendering softwares such as Keyshot is a plus.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Power-Point.
• Ability to communicate in English
• Minimum travel required
