The Business Development Manager defines long-term strategic goals, builds key customer relationships, identifies and increases business opportunities, negotiates and closes business deals and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions.

Description
- Build up strong relationship with customers (distributors, traditional and e-commerce channel partners, HCPs, Service providers etc.) and the sales team to translate the organization vision into an effective marketing and sales strategy keeping in mind the local market dynamics
- Manage all aspects of the pre and post-launch product life cycle, including monitoring and reporting on the in-market activity, responding with tactical development and marketing activities to ensure continued profitability and growth
- Build and develop relationships with key clinical, educational and commercial opinion leaders involved in product portfolio management.
- Identify and prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business.
- Develop and implement marketing communication and activities ( ATL, BTL and digital) to establish a market leading position and grow brand equity
Profile
- At least 6-7 years of experience in Trade Marketing/Key Account Management / Brand or Product Marketing in an OTC / Consumer Health / FMCG company
- A combination of Sales and Marketing experience is preferred
- Proven ability to think big and develop growth plans with clear KPIs and tracking mechanisms
- Familiarity and relationships with key pharmacies/chains
- Understanding of the local media environment is a plus
- Self-driven with an ability to effectively work as an individual contributor
- Ability to articulate sales opportunities to Distributor, Retail Manager, ecommerce, etc.
