Job Description

As an Assembly and Test Central Planning Tactical Planner, you will be part of a team focusing primarily within the 0-26 weeks’ time frame with special emphasis on current quarter. The role includes monitoring our build plans, capacity gaps, CTM solves to ensure we can, and do perform as planned, in order to execute to our sales plans/manufacturing targets. You will work cross functionally with Supply Chain and our manufacturing sites to stay aligned to shifting supply and demand in an agile manner and to drive accountability into the right area via attention to critical metrics

Responsibilities And Tasks

Operational

Interact with Global Supply Chain Tactical Supply Planning to meet demand in utmost agility and to identify at-risk product lines with undesirable Supply Fill rate % in the planning horizon

Partner with AT Strategic Planning to deploy our loading strategies/optimization within backend network in Tactical Horizon

Provide, Analyze and Drive Sub-Contractor Forecast Accuracy

Analyze and provide weekly sub-con forecast to internal partners and in forecast review meeting

Work with MEM Planning on reasons of forecast up and down trending

Collaborate with MEM Planning on weekly forecast preparation to sub-con and to follow up on reasons for sub-con decommits

Process

Improve business process maturity level constantly

Drive and Standardize Assembly and Test Tactical Planning Business Process/Systems

Identify existing planning business processes/systems Opportunity For Improvement (OFI)

Facilitate backend planning business process standardization/systems development and alignment

Perform documentation of business process and training needs for new processes

Conduct regular reviews to improve business process maturity

Collaborate with ATTP Business Process team, System Process Engineer (SPE) team, GSC teams

Assist with analysis of current and future processes/systems

KPI

Ensure Demand-Supply Fill Rate in metrics is healthy and perform network balancing, if required

Coordinate with GSC Tactical Supply Planning, AT Capacity and Strategic Planning, AT Site Planning and MEM Planning on action plans to improve Supply Fill Rate metrics

Drive and Achieve Backend Manufacturing Due Date Targets

Understand and articulate root cause of Global Manufacturing Due Date miss

Implement corrective action (CA) and preventive action (PA) from stakeholder(s)

Optimize the Due Date metrics associated with Business Process (BP), systems, tools across backend manufacturing

Report metrics to your managers/organization leader(s)

Ah hoc

Participate/Lead in small scale projects

Participate in meetings as a subject matter authority

Complete tasks by assigned due date

Communicating/change management on task/project status to leadership

Report issues, risks, changes, and quality concerns to the project manager and team

Requirement

Degree in Engineering

Experience in backend planning and business process mapping
