Job content

  • Participates in defining laboratory objectives conducts experiments in the most creative and least cost environment; maintains documentation for all experiments and activities which can be cross referenced and generates reports from the data gathered; solves problems with existing products; develops metrology recipes, procure resources needed and commitment to accountability.
  • Cooperates with others to test and evaluate problems and products. Works closely with Application, Metrology and Process Engineer.
  • Coordinates projects/services for other departments consults with personnel in other departments to assure accurate and timely response to needs; assists with projects by providing materials, labor, and technical support; and schedules and balances project workloads to ensure desired completion dates.
  • Operates in compliance with company safety practices complies with and aides in the development of departmental safety rules; ensures all equipment is in good working order and operates in a safe manner; follows procedures for handling and disposal of chemicals; monitors area for hazards; uses safety equipment when required; and maintains a safe, clean work area.
  • Participates in achieving the company quality goals develops and takes ownership for the employee certification program; dedicated to reducing product variation and to the spirit and body of continuous improvement; strives for a better understanding of our customer’s requirements; maintains proficiency in problem solving techniques; embraces the concept of teamwork; takes ownership for the quality of the products produced and services performed; and provides excellent internal and external customer service.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Woks in arranged shifts (day shift, night shift and deep night shift) as assigned.
Qualification
  • Master/Bachelor’s degree preferred. Relevant job experience is acceptable in lieu of a degree
  • 1-5 year’s process experience in a semiconductor fab strongly recommended
  • Excel, word and Working knowledge of SPC preferred

  • Ability to work with people at all levels is required.
  • Excellent communication, statistical analysis, time management and organizational skills are required.
  • Familiarity with the total production process and equipment is required.
  • Ability to work in seated or standing positions for prolonged periods of time, lift and/or move a minimum of 20KG, climb ladders/stairs and work on elevated platforms, work and travel throughout plant environment of varied temperatures and humidity; grasp and hold small objects, a full range of motion, and to wear personal protective devices.
