JOB MISSION
The HR Generalist is responsible for performing full function HR as regional PM role in HQ to support and coordinate foreign subsidiaries setup projects and general management of Garmin foreign entities in Asia.
The scope of work may range from long-term strategic to daily operational support, including Com & Ben design, recruiting projects, new hired orientation, employee engagement, local market benchmark survey, enforcing company policyand procedure adherence and supporting the subsidiaries’ operation with coaching and advices.
JOB DESCRIPTION
C&B benchmark survey
- Conduct salary income and local labor market research to define C&B benchmarks based on projects.
- Design, evaluate and modify C&B policies for Garmin entities in Asia and ensure the programs follow local labor law and regulations.
- Advice top managers in taking difficult decisions regarding compensation, benefits and motivation of employees.
Company policy/ Work rules
- Act as PM role to oversee new entity setup project based on business expansion plan and HR scope.
- Design, evaluate and modify the company policy and work rules for local site office operation.
- Partner with local site HR to conduct the local market survey and coordinate with local labor consulting firm when needed.
Recruitment
- Conduct full-cycle of recruitment projects (from sourcing, interviewing, hiring to onboarding)
- Perform sourcing to fulfil vacancies with strategies and hiring plans.
- Support all hiring managers from Taiwan HQ and partner with local site HR to perform on-site interviews.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Organize ER plan and activities to strengthen engagement bonding and retention.
- Advise management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
- Organize employees quarterly and annual performance reviews.
- Employee termination process and coordination.
Training & Development
- Facilitate new employee orientations and onboarding.
- Organize internal training for T&D initiatives.
REQUIREMENT
Minimum Qualification
- Minimum 3 years in HR fieldworking experience.
- Proficient in spoken and writtenEnglish.(TOEIC scores reached above 800 or equivalent level)
- Demonstrated project management, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Able to attend short-term business trip to Asia foreign subsidiaries when needed.
- Advanced level skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualification
- Specialize in HR Payroll / C&B function is a big plus.
- Hands-on experience of supporting startup company on HR related projects is a big plus.
- Adaptable and able to work in afast-paced and team-oriented environment.
- Willing to supportother ad-hoc projects and assignments.
